Plane Crashes Into Resort Town in Argentina
One person has died and at least 71 others were injured on board a Singapore Airlines plane that crashed into a resort town in Argentina on Wednesday. The plane was making an approach to the airport in the town of Bariloche when it encountered strong turbulence and crashed into a residential area. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Rescuers are still searching through the wreckage for survivors. The plane was carrying 192 passengers and crew members. The injured have been taken to local hospitals, where they are being treated for injuries ranging from minor cuts and bruises to broken bones and head injuries.
