Belarusian tennis star Aryna Sabalenka has condemned her country's role in the war in Ukraine, stating that she does not support the actions of her government.
Sabalenka, who won the Australian Open in January, made her comments in a statement released on Tuesday. "I am against war, and I want to express my deepest condolences to the victims and their families," she said. "I hope that peace will be restored as soon as possible."
