PlayStation State of Play: 40 Minutes of Updates on PS5 & PS VR2 Games
State of Play Returns
PlayStation has just hosted its first State of Play event of 2024, bringing us over 40 minutes of updates on upcoming PS5 and PS VR2 games. The event kicked off with a sizzle reel showcasing some of the most anticipated titles coming to PlayStation this year, including Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Final Fantasy XVI, and Resident Evil 4.
New Trailers and Announcements
In addition to the sizzle reel, State of Play featured several new trailers and announcements, including:
- A new trailer for Sonic Frontiers, showcasing the game's open-zone gameplay and new combat system.
- The reveal of Shadow Generations, a new Sonic game featuring both Classic and Modern Sonic.
- The announcement of Stellar Blade, a new action-RPG coming exclusively to PS5 on April 26.
State of Play also included updates on several previously announced games, such as Forspoken, Like a Dragon: Ishin!, and Baldur's Gate 3.
A Look Ahead
