Steve Evans Manager Career

Steve Evans Makes Sensational Return to Rotherham

Evans Takes Charge Following Richardson's Dismissal

Evans' Second Stint at Millers Stadium

Former Leeds United and Stevenage manager Steve Evans has been appointed as the new first-team manager of Rotherham United. Evans, who previously oversaw the Millers from 2012 to 2015, replaces Paul Warne, who was sacked earlier this week.

Evans's return to the club comes after a successful spell at Stevenage, where he led the team to the FA Cup fourth round and a respectable 15th-place finish in League Two.

During his first spell at Rotherham, Evans guided the club to promotion from League One and into the Championship. He also led the Millers to the FA Cup semi-finals in 2014.

Rotherham are currently 22nd in the Championship and facing a battle against relegation. Evans will be tasked with turning around the club's fortunes and securing their place in the second tier.

Evans has expressed his delight at returning to Rotherham. He said: "I am thrilled to be back at Rotherham United. I have great memories of my first spell here, and I am determined to help the club achieve success once again."

Rotherham owner Tony Stewart commented: "We are delighted to welcome Steve back to the club. He has a proven track record of success and we believe he is the right person to lead us forward."
